1. Our website address is: https://shopsplit.uk – while visiting our site, depending on how you interact with the pages and what features you use – we need to collect some personal information from you. We collect this information to be able to provide the services you requested and we never sell your personal information to 3rd parties.

2. We store the names, email address, grocery preferences, UK postcode of users registering to Shopsplit, signing up to the regular Shopsplit Newsletter and sending messages to us via Contacts page. We also store the body of the Messages for up to a calendar year to be able to improve our services and for training purposes.

3. For users that register on our website we also store additional personal information they provide in their user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time on request (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

4. By creating a new Shopsplit account you agree that Shopsplit may be able to contact you from time to time regarding product updates, queries about errors or product experience. If you would like to opt out of this please send a mail to support@shopsplit.uk and we will not initiate any email contact with you, unless you contact us first, or in case you sign up to our newsletter.

5. When visitors leave comments or feedback on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

6. If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. If you submit or upload online supermarket orders then we will store the submission, the ordered items, their value, the date of the order – and other details contained in the 3rd party order confirmation.

7. Embedded contents: Some elements on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We do not sell your personal information, but we may need to share some of your personal information with our service providers (for example to perform backup, storage, analytics or payment services) or tax authorities and other government agencies as and when it is legally required to do so. Our current service providers and servers are within the United Kingdom.

10. You have the right to access, edit or request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you, except any data we may be obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. In case of such request please contact us via support@shopsplit.uk email address and we will do our best to do what you ask, provided the request is legitimate and it is verified that it is directly from you.
