We have been releasing the following new features and improvements to Shopsplit throughout Winter 2024:

Reporting improvement

We have revamped the output reports in Shopsplit, focusing on clarity and simplicity. Some reports have been retired, while the remaining ones are designed to be more user-friendly. You can now easily email the reports for offline use, making them perfect for in-store shopping as well. The available reports are:

Original Shopping List: The basic list, products added from the Catalogue appear first.
Combined List: Highlights suggested changes – items to add and remove from the Original Shopping List. This helps you adjust your online order for savings.
Final List: A simplified version of the shopping list, where original products replaced by alternatives. Great for in-store shopping.
Savings Report: A detailed breakdown of original and suggested replacement products, showing the savings for each.

Smarter Online Grocer Order Import

Improved the accuracy of our Online Grocery Order importer, just take a copy of your order confirmation email and paste it on the Import page, Shopsplit will do the rest. The importer will turn your list into a digital shopping list so you do not need to search and add the products one by one. Can have as many as 200 items and Shopsplit will process them in less than 1 minute. In an other minute after that we will be able to identify any saving opportunities and recommend substitutes to achieve them.

Redesigned the way Shopsplit displays Savings and Substitute products

The Shopsplit Catalogue keeps growing (quite likely already the largest combined grocery catalogue in the UK):

Added more than 15.000 products to the Shopsplit Catalogue in February.
